Project Results

Innovation approach and effectiveness:

1. Strengthen teaching and learning quality assurance:

guidance on graduation thresholds, core and employment certification, international and national competitions are emphasized. The links between student performance and resource input, as well as the regular checkup of the achievement of students are followed.

 

2. Implement competition classification:

based on the Competition Classification Index established in 2015, guidance on national, ministerial and international competitions are conducted. Also, the reward system is optimized in order to increase the incentives for students to work harder. There were 1,274 competition awards winners in 2017, an increase of 31.9% over 2015.

 

Annual key performance:

1.In the academic year of 2019, the international competition awards winners are:

●Department of Visual Communication & Design won the 2019 Red Dot Design Award: 1 Red Dot Best Design Award and 10 Red Dot Awards
●Department of Interactive Entertainment Design won the Liqi Park Cross-border Design Creativity Competition: the first, second, and third place.
●Department of International Business won the prize in the Proposal Competition of the Entrepreneurship Practice Platform of the Ministry of Education and the Maker Fund NT$100,000.
●Department of Business Administration won the third place in the 2019 Entrepreneurship Case Competition.
●Department of Tourism and Leisure Management won the Silver Medal in Taoyuan City 2019 the Third International Creative Aesthetics Competition and Sommelier.
●Department of Applied English Studies won the championship in 2019 TBJ English Presentation Contest.


2. Cross-field Certification:

Since the academic year of 2016, cross-field certification programs have been planned and inter-college counseling has been used to encourage students to obtain cross-field certificates and improve their employment competitiveness. The ratio of cross-field certificates to the total number of certificates in the academic year of 2016 is 0.5%. The cross-field certification enhancement is one of the major goals of school development since 2018.
